There are 2 or maybe you can say 3 main types of ink in this printing industry. This section is just for your knowledge so you know what you are getting. Dye Based Ink / Pigment Based Ink Dye based inks are inexpensive fast-drying ink which is water based . Even though they are easuer to use, they are unfortunately not fade resistant. They will smerge when they get wet and they are NOT permanent. They are also not scratch resistant. Solvent Based Ink Solvent based ink is opaque and quick in drying but these inks can pemanently stain clothings if not used carefully. Solvent based inks are mainly used for outdoors as it is oil based and won’t fade as easily as dye based ink. This type of ink historically been more scratch and weather resistant, plus it has been effective on a wider range of materials compared to dye based ink, Eco-Solvent Ink Eco Solvent ink works the same as Solvent just that it dries a bit more slowly than the solvent ink but it has the same capabilities of the solvent ink. With the milder solvents in this ink, the strong odours which is given by the Solvent ink is thus lessen a lot. The new generation eco-solvent inks offers a bigger “bite” onto vinyl substrates used commonly for ourdoor advertising, a factor that coinceides with better dot quality, scratch resistance and dry times! Therefore we used the best for your printing needs, We use Eco-Solvent Inks.
